Safeguarding policy

Protect safety, preserve boundaries, and route concerns without unauthorized investigation.

P.R.I.M.E. uses restricted records and role-specific escalation for immediate danger, abuse or neglect, exploitation, threats, sexual misconduct or PREA concerns, serious boundary violations, fraud, and security incidents.

01

Immediate safety

Staff protect immediate safety and contact the legally or operationally authorized emergency, facility, law-enforcement, protective, or reporting channel. P.R.I.M.E. does not promise secrecy or conduct an investigation beyond its authority.

02

Restricted handling

Incident, PREA, mandatory-report, grievance, and security records remain separate from routine case notes. Access is limited by role, assignment, conflict, training, MFA verification, and current access review.

03

Boundaries and nonretaliation

Secret meetings, unapproved transportation or housing, private loans, dual relationships, coercive religious activity, unauthorized disclosure, and retaliation are prohibited. Routine services continue unless a documented safety or authority restriction requires otherwise.

04

Preservation and follow-through

Staff preserve relevant messages and documents, record routing facts and legal timers, document external confirmation, protect reporters, and retain records under the approved schedule and legal holds.
